DR. RICHARD LI
March 18, 1968 — January 12, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected loss of Dr. Richard Li, our beloved husband, father, son, brother, healer, and friend. Richard passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the age of 56. His presence, guidance, and love will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Richard was born on March 18, 1968, in Beijing, China, to Dr. Zhengxin Li and Ruby Zhao. From an early age he exhibited an aptitude for academics and athletics. Richard excelled in swimming, and he was a student of science and medicine. In his pursuit of knowledge and opportunity, he emigrated first to Canada, and then to Portland, Oregon, where he earned a doctorate degree in chiropractic medicine from Western States Chiropractic College. It was there that he met Dr. Tammy Woller, the love of his life. They married on April 7th, 2000, and together they built their loving family.
Richard and Tammy moved to Naperville, Illinois, where they raised three children — Nyah (22), Jaden (16), and Makaelynn (13). They
